| OUR MISSION, as an organization, is to re-introduce our Mexican cultural ancestral roots to the new Mexican-American youth and to continue to be proud sentinels of our culture by exposing our Mexican history to those who relish a taste for historical knowledge as well as diversified art. "VIVA MEXICO!” provides an interpretation of life, culture and history. With each new era, the people, the customs and the music of the time tell a story of the hardships, the battles, and the love of the land. “VIVA MEXICO!” provides an educational lesson in Mexican history through original song, traditional costumes, and authentic scenery. It gives a lesson of individuals and events that have helped shape present day Mexico. |
| With a purpose of re-introducing our Mexican cultural ancestral roots to the new Mexican-American youth"VIVA MEXICO!" THeatrical performance is conveniently scheduled to coincide annually with Mexico’s Independence from Spain located at the Chamizal National Memorial Theater while appealing to individuals and families from Las Cruces, New Mexico, El Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. |
| 2010, will be the 200th Anniversary of the Independence of Mexico from Spain and the 100th Anniversary of the Mexican Revolution of 1910. This year the production will add musical numbers to cover those two events. |
